Well, Phil has spoken again. Yes, Punxsutawney Phil in Punxsutawney, Pennsylvania, saw his shadow yesterday and, according to groundhog lore, there will be 6 more weeks of winter. Those of you in the snow-ridden Midwest or East, would probably like to get a re-view of that dreaded groundhog shadow. But, believe me, even for those of us out here in the sunny, balmy West Coast, we’re ready for spring. Yup, there comes a time in January/February that, even without Phil’s two cents, by now the happy holidays are over and we’re all feeling a bit antsy. But wait we must and, apparently longer than we’d hoped.

So, today, TLC Tuesday, take a  moment to embrace that groundhog. Find something funny about or in the long, darker days of winter (Phil’s physique is a good start). Bring your A-game to each day of this looooong winter, starting today, and resolve to make this time, this NOW!, a really great place, a place where you can shine no matter what the calendar – and a groundhog’s prognostication – says.

Yes, embrace that groundhog! No time like the present!
