Ohio fifth grader Jeffrey Radcliffe says a heavenly voice told him what to do when he was trapped in his burning home.

Facing a wall of flames and a collapsed stairs, he had to jump out of his second-story window. That’s exactly what he did, injuring three vertebrae in his back.

In severe pain, he began banging on his parents’ bedroom window — awakening them, prompting them to flee the fire and saving their lives, according to the Norwalk Reflector newspaper.

He says he doesn’t know who it was guiding him to jump, but the voice urged him repeatedly. He’s hospitalized — but his family is safe … and won’t leave his side.

He’ll be in a back brace for six weeks, the doctors say.
