It came as no surprise to me that one of my favorite rock/worship bands, Starfield, swept the Canadian GMA awards, taking home an award in all six categories they were nominated. The band took home honors for Artist of the Year, Group of the Year, Album of the Year and Modern Worship Album of the Year (I Will Go), Recorded Song of the Year (Hosanna) and Praise & Worship Song of the Year (Reign In Us).
Other artists making a name in the US market who took home awards include:
Folk/Roots Song Of The Year
“On The Blue” Joel Augé
Folk/Roots Album Of The Year
Salvation Station Newworldson
Pop/Contemporary Album Of The Year
Colors And Sounds Article One
Praise And Worship Album Of The Year
Empty & Beautiful Matt Maher
