Admittedly, this has nothing to do with Christian music, but Spinal Tap, the fake heavy metal rock band from the mockumentary “This Is Spinal Tap,” is such an icon in the music industry, I just had to note it.
The UK Guardian reports that Spinal Tap – which includes Derek Smalls (Harry Shearer), David St. Hubbins (Michael McKean), and Nigel Tufnel (Christopher Guest) – is recording new material for a “comeback” 25th anniversary album.
The band, which lost all of their drummers in unusual circumstances ranging from a bizarre gardening accident to spontaneous combustion, have not announced a replacement.
Cracks me up.
