How fun is this? Contestants are encouraged to videotape their own “Happy Dance” to the song “You Danced,” upload it to YouTube and submit an entry form at Brian Bates’ website. Several radio stations and networks have begun promoting the “Happy Dance” contest to their listeners so get your video cameras and let’s get dancing! The deadline for entries is July 24 and winners will be announced on July 31. All entries will be featured on Brians’ website and YouTube page. In addition to awarding prizes to consumers, Bates is offering a free concert to the radio station that promotes the contest and receives the most entries from its listeners. For more information, visit the Happy Dance page Brian’s website. The song “You Danced” was inspired by Bates’ recent trip to Bo, a southern province of Sierra Leone, Africa and his partnership with World Vision. The Mission Bo project was birthed from Bates’ desire to make a dramatic impact on a specific group of people.RELATED POSTChristian artist Brian Bates shares his thoughts on how to respond to Ray Boltz, Clay Aiken coming out of the closetClick here to subscribe to Gospel Soundcheck by email and have the Gospel Soundcheck headlines delivered daily to your email inbox.
