This week our Cooking with Christian Music feature is from worship artist Daniel Kirkley, who shares his mom’s recipe for chocolate chip cookies.
Daniel says:
“My mom (Ms. Libby) used to have these fresh baked cookies waiting for my brother & I when we would get in most afternoons from school. They quickly became a favorite of all our friends…so I know you’re going to LOVE them too. They’re so easy…just mix, portion, bake & enjoy!!!”
Daniel Kirkley is on the Moments of Worship Tour with labelmate Jaime Jamgochian, through August and September. Hopefully, his mom sent along a few dozen cookies!
And here’s the recipe:
Ms. Libby’s Chocolate Chip Cookies

2 Eggs
½ Cup Crisco Oil
6 oz. Semi-sweet (Nestles) Chocolate Chips
