Tween pop sensation pureNRG’s new CD, The Real Thing, debuted this week at #20 on Billboard’s Top 200 Chart (that’s higher than the soundtrack for “Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince”) and at #1 on the Christian Soundscan chart.
“We are thrilled at the street-week success of pureNRG’s latest release,” states Rod Riley, COO of Word Entertainment. “I’m proud of Jordan, Caroline and Carolyne and excited to see fans engage in their music and message in such a significant way.”
The past nine months has seen the group perform for over half a million people as part of the 14-date Casting Crowns Christmas Tour and the 36-date Winter Jam Tour earlier this year. They recently returned from a trip to Norway.
Their busy schedule doesn’t slow down as the next few months include the Creation Northwest Festival in July, a second appearance in August at the American Airlines Center in Dallas at a Ringling Brother’s Circus event, and a missions trip to Mexico in October.
If you’ve got tweens and teens in the house, you need to check out pureNRG. The members – Jordan 16, Caroline, 14 and Carolyne, 13 – are adorable and your kids will connect with their fun music and faith-filled testimonies.
