Porter’s Call was started nine years ago with an initial grant from the Sparrow Foundation and a mission to come alongside artists in their pilgrimage of life and music and faith and assist them as they engage in a four-fold journey:

  • To reflect upon one’s life and faith in the past and present
  • To contend with difficult issues and questions
  • To restore a redemptive and purposeful life
  • To create with humility and depth

Since its doors opened, Porter’s Call has offered its service at no charge to artists. This has been made possible through the generous support of record labels, artists and those working throughout various facets of the music industry.
Located in an historic home in Franklin, TN, it’s a safe and confidential place for artists where questions can be asked and explored; where broken lives can be restored and healed; where God can be encountered and discovered; where creative gifts can be deepened and enhanced.
Counselors Al and Nita Andrews have welcomed almost 500 artists through their doors since its inception.
