The senate race between winner Republican Scott Brown and Democrat Martha Coakley has a connection to, what else, American Idol.
Senator elect Brown’s daughter Alya was a Top 16 finalist on American Idol Season 5. Brown’s new album, Circles,hits iTunes on Tuesday.
