Today’s reading in Matthew focuses on the parable of the talents, which always makes me feel … well, guilty. Sometimes I look at my life and think, Have I squandered what God has given me? I know in the parable a talent is money, but I think figurately it applies to whatever blessings God has given me. I don’t want to hide away anything God’s given me. But I’m sure that I do.
How about you? Do you ever feel like you’ve hidden your talents – literal or figurative?
