Rocker Lou Gramm and his band will perform on Friday, June 25 at A Sweet Cure & A Shave benefit at the Charles Finney School in Penfield, NY.
And that’s not the only excitement: folks in the Christian music industry will get to see Pastor Samme Palermo – rock radio host, founder of Heir Chex Digital Servicing, and pastor at Oasis Christian Fellowship – cut off his trademark ponytail and shave his head … bald!
Fans of Lou Gramm will also get to see him perform some songs made famous by Foreigner, as well as songs from his new Christian rock album.
The event is to raise money for a Window of Hope at the American Cancer Society’s new Hope Lodge in Rochester. It will also help build a radio station at Charles Finney High School.
Rochester artist Mike Slattery will also be creating a one-of-a-kind painting during the concert, which will then be auctioned off during a live auction at the event.
Tickets for the event are $50, and are tax-deductible. For more information, contact Pastor Samme Palermo at (585) 733-8648 or email pastorsamme@oasis-cf.net, or visit the Oasis Christian Fellowship website.
