Marc Martel, singer/songwriter and member of the Christian rock band Downhere, has moved on to the second round in the Queen Extravaganza competition. Along with Marc, his brother David Martel and Downhere bandmate Glenn Lavender also moved on.
Whoo hoo!
The Queen Extravaganza is a live touring show celebrating and paying tribute to the glorious music and live experience of Queen. The Queen Extravaganza band will be made up of North American (USA and Canada) musicians selected by Queen’s drummer Roger Taylor and then voted for by the public.
Marc Martel became in internet sensation with his first round audition video, earning him a guest appearance on The Ellen DeGeneres Show and an MTV O Music Award for Best Fan Cover.
You can vote for one contestant in each category – vocals, guitar, drums and bass – by visiting the Queen Extravaganza website. Voting ends November 28!
