I can turn failure into success, disappointment into increased understanding and loss into gain.”

Emerson stated in his essay Compensation that for everything you lose, you gain something.

For every loss there is a gain, so let go of the loss and accept the gain.

“I will restore to you the years which the swarming locust has eaten,”

                                                Joel 2:25

The years the locust has eaten symbolize those periods in life that seem empty of good or filled with trouble.  Just as vines that are pruned bear better and fuller fruits, so all periods of hardship, problems and challenges through which we pass can be regarded as times of pruning.

Release all anxiety or condemnation of yourself or others about your past or situation.  God can give such an abundant outpouring of good in the present moment that there is not room enough to hold it!

Keep acknowledging the growth and the good that is coming out of every moment and every situation, no matter how improbable it may seem.

“Every adversity contains within it the seed of an equal or greater benefit.”

                                    W. Clement Stone

May you prosper all the days of your life, under grace and in perfect ways!
