“It’s not the load that breaks you down… it’s the way you carry it.”

Lena Horne

Lena Horne, an incredible singer and entertainer,
was acknowledged on the Academy Awards show last night.

Lena Horne led the way for black people in Hollywood, movies and television.
She was the Jackie Robinson of the Entertainment industry.

Her quote is very powerful.  Life is what it is.
It is the way we each choose to perceive it and deal with it that can break us down.

Have you heard the expression that you must pay the price for success?
Or that you must make sacrifices for success?

Maybe there is a fee that must be paid to be successful.
Maybe the “FEE” is Faith, Energy and Enthusiasm.

It requires positive beliefs, strong faith, high energy and enthusiasm to succeed in life.
In any endeavor in any area, these qualities are necessary.

Is it possible that life can actually build you up instead of break you down?
Can it give you the lessons and experience you need to actualize your divine potential?

Many people have shared with me how challenged they feel in their life, relationships, career and financial position.  They wonder and question if they are on the right path.

Just because the path is difficult does not mean that you are on the wrong path.
It always comes back to faith and trust in God.

Success on all levels is not just material or physical.
Success has a spiritual basis and foundation.

All success comes from your Divine Heritage and your blessings from God.
The path may be difficult or challenging, but following your truth is the only real option.

All you can do is your best and to give your best.
Strive to live your life sincerely from your essence and heart.

In the end, why are you here?  What is your higher purpose?
Is it for the material success; or to be the wonderful person that is inside your heart?

Maybe it is to allow yourself to be the person and being that you truly are.
Maybe you have to consistently acknowledge yourself and others for being a Spiritual Being.
