In times of such powerful and devastating natural disasters, there is only one source of comfort.
This source is the most powerful force in the universe, our divine Mother & Father God.

You can stand unshaken amidst the crash of breaking worlds,

God’s love and grace stands unshaken throughout time and all of eternity.

We can go within and connect with our core energy,
as we are created by God in his image and with his energy.

This is our center of unlimited strength, power, unconditional love and compassion.
Life is a gift and our time in this incarnation is precious and relatively short in the grand design.

Our physical lifetime is but a flicker of a candle compared to the greater eternity of the universe.
What transcends time and space is our love and compassion, as it lives forever.

In this most challenging times of loss, grief and utter devastation and destruction,
we can only find comfort in our trust, faith and belief in God and the basic goodness of life.

Whatever time we have on this earth, let us use it wisely and for the greatest good of all concern.
This natural disaster in Japan forces us all to acknowledge how little control we have.

It shocks us into acknowledging what is truly important in life and how much time, energy and resources we each spend on unimportant and trivial preferences.  How much of our focused attention is on selfishness, greed, hatred and war?

This experience is forcing us to re-examine our use of nuclear energy.
This experience is guiding us to re-examine what our focus is for our lives.

Are we doing the best we can with what we have where we are?
This is life’s ultimate purpose….to discover our vision and higher purpose for being here.

The greatest gift that God’s gives each of us is hidden deep within our own hearts and minds.
We must choose to seek these riches above all other distractions.

Maybe this tragedy will help bring us closer as a world nation and people.

For in truth, we are one and many people are sending their love, compassion and support to Japan and her people.  We need to live this way with all people in the world.

The I Ching shares that the shock of unsettling events moves us toward a higher truth.
Shocking events move us back onto the path of truth.

 

“Those who maintain a reverence for proper principles and an inner commitment to higher things re unperturbed by shocking events; they simply concentrate on deepening their understanding.  If you find yourself feeling threatened by circumstances, withdraw into stillness and meditation.  The only remedy for doubt and fear is reconnection to higher truth.”
