Since my accident, I have had various rounds of surgery and recovery. I suffered acute pain which became chronic in my foot. Ultimately, I went on a specific nerve-pain drug called Lyrica. When the pain became bearable, I was invited to start drawing again, and started to chronicle my path and my feelings on paper. It became a very therapeutic journey.
As I have progressed over the past few weeks and the pain has dissipated, my mobility has improved, and I have started exploring these artworks more as a spiritual portal and program. On this day of devotion to love, may we commemorate love in all its forms. May we remember all its expressions and honor all souls that have come into our lives to express love.
There is no deeper or higher purpose than to experience love – to give and receive it unconditionally and with reverence. The whole universe is waiting for our awakening and today may this be a portal into your heart and the center of the entire universe. Happy Valentine’s Day!
