Pomegranates and their juices are rich in antioxidants that can protect you against many diseases, including atherosclerosis and other cardiovascular diseases, as well as cancer.
If you suffer from arthritis, pomegranates and their juices can help you find relief from your symptoms.
A study suggests that pomegranate juice can help stop the buildup of harmful proteins implicated in Alzheimer’s disease. Hence, if you wish to keep dementia at bay, it might be good to start including pomegranates in your grocery list.
In instances where you have diarrhea, you can use pomegranate juice to alleviate your condition. Of course, this means that under normal conditions, pomegranate juice could make you a little constipated. So you might have to couple your consumption of pomegranates with something that encourages bowel movements, such as prunes (i.e. dried plums).
