Harvested by driving tomahawks into maple trees to extract a rich fluid which is then concentrated, maple syrup is one syrup you can count on for health benefits.
There are however different grades of maple syrup. The lower the grade, the more concentrated the minerals within. Hence, of grades A, B and C, Grade C maple syrups have the highest concentration of minerals.
Maple syrup is rich in manganese, which is needed to power up your body’s cells. Maple syrup also has anti-inflammation properties.
High in zinc, maple syrup can help improve your immunity, especially by supporting the thymus gland.
