This latest from M. Night Shyamalan is based on a TV series “Avatar: The Last Airbender” and features a world where the elements–Earth, Air, Fire, and Water–are controlled by people called “benders.” The last of the Airbenders is a young boy, Aang, who is the world’s only hope to stop a war started by the Fire Nation. The film stars Jackson Rathbone and Dev Patel and releases July 2, 2010.
