I really needed a pick-me-up this morning to get me through the last day before the weekend and thankfully I found it when I was watching CBS this morning. Their morning show featured a rather lengthy interview and performance with a group called Gospel for Teens. It’s part of a larger arts organization  in Harlem called the Mama Foundation.  The life-changing stories  of wha tone woman is doing to inspire youth to move in a new direction by connecting with their gospel roots is amazing.

But the morning appearance on CBS was actually the second one of the past week as  “60 Minutes” also did a feature on the group. Leslie Stahl actually followed this group for a year. It is well worth the time to watch it and learn the whole story of this ministry.
