Donald Miller’s “Blue Like Jazz” was a rallying cry to many twentysomething Christians who felt jilted by the hollow faith of their parents and peers. With an intimate, personable style, Miller poured out his thoughts and struggles with an oftentimes embarrassing honesty.

A feature film, directed by Steve Taylor, was in the works but put on hold due to financial troubles. A handful of dedicated fans, however, banded together and launched a fundraising campaign on Kickstarter, aiming to raise $125,000 through grassroots donations. Instead, they raised $325,000.

And now, the little film that almost wasn’t has a brand new teaser trailer. So… what do you think? Does this seem like a faithful adaptation of Miller’s book?
