The Sermon on the Mount is the essence of Christianity, especially The Lord’s Prayer.  Interestingly, there is no system of theology contained in it, but rather spiritual instruction in the art of living. This Sermon has appealed to us over the years because we are spiritual beings in human form.  “My Favorite Cowboy” is an allegory about the spiritual instruction that Jesus Christ conveyed in The Sermon. Our song is meant to inspire all who listen, either to engage in their prayers with new feeling or as encouragement to those who are undecided, to claim their divine inheritance.
