Move over Bachelor, take a hike Bachelorette – there’s a new love show in TV land, that’s finding true love.
Thursday, June 5th, GSN will premiere ‘It Takes a Church’, a matchmaking show, hosted by Natalie Grant. “I was drawn to the idea of hosting the show because of the role the local church congregation plays,” said Grant. “It focuses on the human interest and tells a deep story,” said Grant.
Churches write in to the show about the single that they would like to set up. Then comes the big surprise! ‘It Takes a Church’ reveals to the single that the congregation will begin the matchmaking. Each single truly wants to find love and find a partner. The church comes together for the single, in hopes to make there life more fulfilled.
“I do believe someone can find true love within the church. When you’re a person of faith, where else should you find a person that you want to be with,” Grant asks.
