Grammy and Dove award-winning alt-rock group Switchfoot releases Fading West, an intimate documentary of their lives and music.

“Fading West is one of the most inside looks of the band that we’ve ever put out,” says guitarist Drew Shirley.

In conjunction with their ninth album, of the same title, the film follows the band around the world during their 2012 tour. As they travel to different countries – Australia, New Zealand, Bali, South Africa – they seek the perfect waves, connect with their fans, and discover new music along the way.

Directed by Matt Katsolis and produced by drummer Chad Butler, the film captures stunning scenery and thoughtful moments between the group members and their families. As they look for musical inspiration, they delve into major life questions of identity and purpose, finding God at the center of it all.

The acclaimed documentary is currently on Netflix and available to stream via Video on Demand (US).
