Popular singer-songwriter Nichole Nordeman has released her first book, Slow Down.
The acclaimed worship leader is discussing her intimate and heartfelt feelings about parenthood in her book, which is based on her hit song “Slow Down.” The song, which pulled at the heartstrings of mothers everywhere, showcased the reality of how fast children grow.
“Nichole’s beautiful song “Slow Down” connected with so many of us so deeply and so immediately because she says what we all want to say, and she makes us feel less alone and less crazy for feeling those things,” said Shauna Niequist, New York Times best-selling author. “She captured that feeling, that nothing-like-it-in-all-the-world, this-is-just-exactly-what-it-feels-like-to-be-a-mom thing, and we needed every note of it.”
