Carrie Underwood and her family are thankfully unharmed after their Tennessee home caught fire while they were inside. According to WKRN News 2, firefighters were dispatched to the singer’s house on June 16th after a “fully-involved fire” was reported coming from the garage at around 9:40 p.m. The news outlet shared that the firefighters were able to quickly extinguish the fire thanks to 10,000-gallon water tank that was already on the premises. A spokesperson for Underwood said in a statement to People that her family, including her husband Mike Fisher and their two sons, Isaiah, 9, and Jacob, 5, along with their pets were all safe after the house fire. “There was a fire on the property on Sunday night, which was quickly contained,” they said. “There was no fire damage to the primary residence, and the family and their pets were unharmed.”

Captain Dinah Wade shared with Fox News that the fire started in a UTV that was parked near the garage. The fire then spread to the garage, setting off alarms. “Crews worked for several hours to extinguish the fire extension into the roofline,” Wade said. “Crews from Franklin Fire provided a ladder truck and engine crew to assist with the operation. Fairview Fire also provided a tanker and crew for support.” Wade also mentioned that the 10,000 gallon water tank, which was installed due to the property being in a rural area, was a huge help. “This helped firefighters have a ready supply to extinguish the fire,” Wade shared.

In an update to social media, Williamson County Fire and Rescue revealed that all eight crews from its stations responded to the fire alarm call. “Upon arrival, 1401 found flames coming from the garage. Crews were able to knock down the fire quickly to prevent spread into the house,” the message read. “The cause of the fire is under investigation. There are no injuries at this time.” Hours before the fire occurred, the “American Idol” singer posted a photo to her Instagram story with her animals, captioning it, “Sheep selfie with Gray and Gary…”
