Part Two, containing episodes 3, 4, and 5, and Part Three, featuring episodes 6, 7, and 8, will follow, keeping fans eagerly anticipating each installment.
The global release of The Chosen: Last Supper begins April 10 in over 40 territories, including the United Kingdom, Italy, Germany, the Philippines, India, Brazil, and Mexico, distributed by Trafalgar Releasing internationally and Fathom Events in the U.S.
The Chosen: Last Supper promises to dive deep into the most pivotal moments of Jesus’ ministry. According to the official synopsis, this season will depict Jesus’ triumphant entrance into Jerusalem and the anticipation of His disciples as they await what they believe will be His crowning as king. Instead, Jesus confronts the religious establishment, setting the stage for His betrayal and crucifixion.
“The table is set. The people of Israel welcome Jesus as king while His disciples anticipate His crowning. But—instead of confronting Rome—He turns the tables on the Jewish religious festival. Their power is threatened, and the country’s religious and political leaders will go to any length to ensure this Passover meal is Jesus’ last,” the synopsis reads.
The season’s trailer offers a glimpse into Jesus cleansing the temple and sharing the Lord’s Supper with His disciples, leaving fans with a taste of the emotional weight and spiritual depth that awaits.
Dallas Jenkins, creator and executive producer of The Chosen, couldn’t be more thrilled about the upcoming season. “I’m possibly more excited to bring Season 5 to the world than any other season we’ve done,” Jenkins shared. “Unfortunately, it’s not coming until March, but that’s because it’s such a huge season and requires a ton of work.”
