Wheel of Fortune co-host Vanna White recently marked a heartfelt milestone—getting her first-ever tattoo, and she had the perfect artist for the job: her daughter, Gigi Santo Pietro.
White shared the special moment on Instagram, posting a video of Gigi personally inking a delicate pink heart on her wrist. The duo visited Lincoln Tattoo Company in Venice, California, for the occasion.
“I finally got my first tattoo, given to me by my talented daughter @gigisantopietro!! I will think of her every time I look at it,” White captioned the video.
In the clip, White made it clear that the decision was entirely her own. “She’s not making me do this. It’s my choice,” she said before stepping into the tattoo shop with Gigi.
As she selected her design, White admitted to feeling a bit nervous. “I’m shaking,” she told her daughter. After some deliberation, she settled on a pink heart outline, describing the shade as having a hint of salmon.
Once the tattooing began, White initially worried about how it would feel. “I don’t know if I can watch. I might pass out,” she joked. But moments later, she mouthed to the camera, “I don’t feel anything.” When Gigi asked her to compare the sensation to something, White simply replied, “Nothing.”

Reflecting on the experience, she shared, “I’ve been wanting to do this for a really long time. I really have. I’m so happy.”
Once the tattoo was complete, White was overjoyed. “It looks perfect. It’s just what I wanted,” she told Gigi.
Even her Wheel of Fortune co-host Ryan Seacrest chimed in, commenting on her post, “Love it. Now this is making me want one…”
Vanna White shares two children, Gigi and her 30-year-old son, Nikko, from her marriage to ex-husband George Santo Pietro. While Gigi impressed fans with her artistic talent, Nikko recently caught the internet’s attention for an entirely different reason.
In late 2024, White posted a video of herself cooking with Nikko, and the response was overwhelming. Addressing the unexpected buzz on Wheel of Fortune, she said, “I recently posted a video of me and my son, Nikko, cooking, and it got a lot of response. I don’t get it.”
Seacrest quickly explained. “The kids are calling Nikko a thirst trap,” he said, playfully referencing Nikko’s fitted white shirt in the clip, joking that it looked like it came from the Baby Gap.
Fans flooded the comments with messages like, “Vanna, where have you been hiding Nikko? He’s GORGEOUS,” and “Your son is hot!!!”
Nikko later addressed the attention in an interview with Entertainment Tonight, admitting he found it flattering.
“People see me as this heartthrob, and they’re thirsty for me and all this stuff,” he said with a laugh. “I love it all, but at the same time, it’s really good to remember the meaningful things in life—doing charity work, working hard every day.”
For Vanna White, family means everything—whether it’s creating lifelong memories with her daughter through a tattoo or sharing a simple cooking moment with her son. With her warm personality and close-knit bond with her children, it’s clear that love and family are at the heart of her journey.
