Well, I have been following the social fall and public unraveling of bestselling painter of Christian kitsch for months now – actually years. Now at least one of Kinkade’s problems is being resolved. He has finally been sentenced for a DUI several months ago. He will only send ten days in jail after a no contest plea and then will be on probation.
I don’t share the news so people can make cheap jokes at his expense, but rather I continue to ask why there is so little concern on the behalf of many Christians about a long series of transgressions on Kinkade’s part.
