There is a terrific website devoted to helping friends and family members find the tools and support to assist a loved one in their time of grief. It is called “I Did Not Know What to Say.”

It is so true, we rarely know when to say when someone passes, when someone is grieving. This website offers ideas, sample letters, lovely thoughts that can be shared with those who are who are going through the stages of loss.

“Death is not a topic we like to talk about,” say the folks at this website. “The unfortunate truth is at some point we will all be faced with the uncomfortable reality of losing a loved one.   Our friends and family play a big part in how we deal with this loss.  The support of friends and family can make all the difference.”
