Ah, Beware the Ides of March.
I feel bad that Julius Caesar was assassinated on this day, but I think it is high time to take back March 15th and no longer fear that dreaded date and the bad energy associated with the “Ides of March.”
This fateful occurrence was famously dramatized in William Shakespeare’s play Julius Caesar, when Caesar is warned by a Seer to “beware the Ides of March.” He arrogantly laughed at the guy only to meet a stabbing death by his friends in the senate. Yikes.
Time to replace that negative image with a positive one–like spring Inspiration. Think of it this way, as of March 15th Spring is only 6 days away!
Daylight savings time 2010 kicked off on March 14 and by today, the Ides of March, we can begin to readjust our body clocks and brains as we get ready for more light in each day and the coming spring and the spring inspiration it brings.
So let’s March into spring and spring forward in the way Daylight Savings Time lets us.
