Golden Girl Rue McClanahan is now with God.
She died of a massive stroke at age 76. Her manager, Barbara Lawrence, says that family surrounded her and that she went in peace.
Rue was one of the fabulous four on the classic sitcom The Golden Girls about aging friends who made us laugh as we witnessed their trials and tribulations. The show also featured Estelle Getty, Bea Arthur, and Betty White, who recently had a huge success on Saturday Night Live.
