After the MLB All-Star Game, a young fan got the chance of a lifetime. Clayton Kershaw finished pitching in his ninth All-Star Game. In the post-game press conference, 10-year-old Blake Grice raised his hand to get Kershaw’s attention.
Blake lost his grandfather, Graham, seven years ago to brain cancer. He was a huge Dodgers fan, and one of the things on his bucket list was to meet Clayton Kershaw. Instead of asking Kershaw a question, Blake decided to tell Kershaw about his grandfather and his bucket list. Blake got emotional, and Kershaw was immediately there to comfort him. What a heartwarming moment for a young baseball fan.
This 10-year-old fan crossed an item off his late grandfather’s bucket list when he got to meet Clayton Kershaw ❤️
