Bruce Willis recently became a grandfather after his daughter, Rumer Willis, gave birth to her baby, Louetta Isley Thomas Willis, in April and has reportedly been over the moon about the new addition to the family. A source close to the family spoke about how Bruce’s spirits have been boosted while taking care of the little one as battles dementia. “This baby feels heaven-sent,” said the insider. “She’s brought Bruce so much happiness. Seeing Bruce as a grandpa is the sweetest thing. He’s always been so good with babies. He’s been making the most of life, but there are challenges. There are tough days and sadness, so having Louetta has been such a blessing for him and the whole family.”
The 34-year-old actress welcomed her first child on April 18th with boyfriend Derek Thomas. She announced the birth of her newborn on Instagram where she shared a sweet photo of her baby girl and captioned it saying, “Louetta Isley Thomas Willis. You are pure magic. Born at home on Tuesday April 18th. You are more than we ever dreamed of.” Before giving birth, Willis spoke to the media about about how excited her parents, Willis and Demi Moore, were to welcome their first grandchild. “My parents are so excited. My sisters are so excited, and it’s so fun to be bringing in the first grandkid in our family, especially because we’re such a huge group at this point,” Willis told People. Willis said the best piece of parenting advice her parents have given her is, “You have no control over anything, and just have a lot of grace with yourself.”
