One of the great proofs that the Bible is true—and that we are indeed living in the last days, despite the catcalls and mocking from the critics and skeptics—is the survival of the Jewish people. They are a sovereign nation again.

Repeatedly in Scripture, the Lord promises to preserve them. He has done this, the most astonishing fulfillment of prophecy in our time. Nowhere is this more evident than in the story of Nazi Germany and the Holocaust. An extraordinary photo recently of an Israel Defense Forces color guard marching OUT of Auschwitz is a cosmic shout that God is not only alive, but engaged with our world today and more importantly and chillingly, preparing to intervene again, soon.

The trip-wire for the greatest remaining prophecies to be fulfilled involve the international community’s (what the Bible calls “the nations”) growing resentment/hatred for the state of Israel.

Israel is permanent. God has thrown down the ultimate gauntlet.
