Race is inherent to the American experience.  The next season of Survivor is going to divide the teams up according to race.  Most people attend churches and live in neihborhoods that resemble their ace.  The price of a private adoption is based upon skin tone.  There is a pastor in Seattle who has drawn attention to this by putting up billboards stating the price of buying (I mean adopting) a white baby versus a darker hued child.  See this link on Why it Cost More to Adopt a White baby.  How do you explain Jon Bonet Ramsey making headlines without factoring in race?

Race, race everywhere and not a definition.  If we can get to the core of race then we will have discovered the birthplace of jazz and the beginnings of a jazz theology.
