Album of the Week:  Live at Birdland by John Coletrane contains the song Alabama.  Coletrane composed it after listening the the rhythms of Martin Luther King Jr’s sermon eulogizing the four young girls killed in the bombing of a church in Birmingham.

Book of the Week:  A Testament of Hope:  The Essential Writings and Speeches of Martin Luther King, Jr. Edited by James M. Washington.  This volumn is a must for anyone wanting a well rounded understanding of Kings thought.
