I’ve never been one to listen to audio versions of the Bible, by and and large I found them boring.  This Lent I gave up talk radio.  My goal was to reduce the number of voices in my head this season and so I replaced the time I normally listen to the radio with listenting to The Bible Experience.

I have been pleasantly surprised.  No take that back…I love it!  It’s read well and scored well.  There are times when the sound effects get in the way or when the songs that they use to break up a section don’t really fit but that is what the "skip" button is for.  The New Testament is available now with the Old Testament soon to follow.  Oh yeah, they are reading from Todays New International Version.
