I just finished Quiet Strength by Tony Dungy. He led the Colts to a Super Bowl championship in 2007 and in the process became the first African-American coach to earn such a win. Simply put, Quiet Strength is a spiritual autobiography, as Dungy talks about his faith with natural ease.
After this book, I admire this man immensely. He speaks candidly about family, being fired, adoption and the loss of his 19 year old son to suicide. All the while seeking to make the most of the platform God has afforded him.
It’s worth your time!
