Just finished a book many of you probably have already read, Michael Yaconelli’s Messy Spirituality. Very much along the line of Yancey’s What’s So Amazing about Grace?, Yaconelli’s book is disarmingly honest and filled with stories that ring true about the presence of grace.

Spirituality isn’t about being finished and perfect; spirituality is about trusting God in our unfinishedness.
Chesterton fans will notice the occasional flourishing paradox that reminds them of Chesterton. What all will notice is the importance of hearing what Yaconelli has to teach us.
