This series of blogs on Generous (evangelical) Orthodoxy is important as I try to grapple with the challenge McLaren has given to fashion a generous orthodoxy. Tomorrow I will look at how anything “orthodox” must be “creedal,” but just how we grapple with “creedal” is so important. Then I will take on three or four more themes about what a generous orthodoxy can look like that will enable us to offer a genuine fourth way.
