I have a recommendation for you. It is a recommendation to use a prayer book during July. Kris and I will be using Mark Van Steenwyk’s new The Missio Dei Breviary. As some of you know, I have myself written a book about using prayer books (Praying with the Church), so you might need to begin there. But the real work is the daily use of a prayer book, and we will be using the Missio Dei Breviary for one month. I confess that I’m delighted that Mark saw fit to include the Jesus Creed as a regular recital in this prayer book.
