Kris and I are planning another trip to Italy early summer — land in Milan, then to Venice and then down to Florence. We want to spend the first day and night near Lago di Garda. Anyone have suggestions on what to see or where to stay on the southern tip of Lago di Garda? Or maybe Verona instead? Any tips on special things (other than the obvious) to see in Venice or Florence or on the way to either? We will also spend the last night in Milan or near Malpensa. Any suggestions there?
