…you have to celebrate it with Pastor Ed Young Jr.

As you probably know, Ed Young is always looking for ways to creatively talk to Good Morning America tell the story of God. And this Christmas is no exception. In fact, the Dallas mega-pastor is promising his church members a Christmas like they’ve never seen it before…

So what does Mr. Ed have cooking in his stocking this holiday season?! He’s planning to celebrate Christmas in 3D! Yes, like Avatar.

Of course, it doesn’t matter that churches have been celebrating Christmas in real life 3D for centuries… you know, with live nativities and real people singing in choir lofts. But I suppose Pastor Ed is planning to boast a choir of Heavenly Hosts fluttering around the auditorium singing “O Come All Ye Faithful” and a Star of Wonder that will make you feel like one of the wise men.

And I’m sure it will be a spectacle to behold.

I don’t know about you, but I’ll take my “silent night, holy night” over special effects any day. Christmas has enough flash & awe… I want need simple.
