Now, for the record: I’m not “anti-gun.” While I’m not my father–the proud NRA-card-caring hunter–I’m also not one of those people who believes that “guns are the root of all evil.” I’m somewhere in the middle I suppose…

However, that paragraph above describing With My Rifle By My Side is HILARIOUS. When I first read it, I was hoping it was satire. But it wasn’t…

The book is published by Nordskog Publishing, Inc… I’d never heard of this publishing group, so I looked them up…

ItsJustMe writes… In this attractive hardback book, we see a boy and girl baiting their father’s hunting stands, a boy having target practice with Dad, kids going to Washington D.C. to learn about the Founders and U.S. history, and a family praying and giving thanks to God “for our food and the gift of every day” and “for an America that is safe and strong in heart.”

And Diamis writes… This excellent book was featured on Glenn Beck Friday July 2 during a Founders’ Fridays Show about the many women who shaped our country’s history. The book is great for you to read to your children and grandchildren about their right to bear arms.
