Another Jesus sighting has occurred. This time in Mississippi.
A Mid-South family says an image of Jesus formed on a freshly painted wall of their house.
Wendy Brady’s specialty is finishing walls with a technique she calls Mississippi Mud.
“I’ve been doing this for many years,” she said Friday
Baker has a keen eye for interior design, but she wasn’t expecting to see an image of Jesus after she finished the foyer at her friend’s home in Horn Lake.
“To my amazement and joy and surprise, that is what showed up,” she said.
Homeowner Ruth Mersenski and her daughter Sandra recognized the familiar face of Jesus after Baker wiped a colored glaze from the textured compound.
“It’s as if the image of Jesus is keeping watch over their front door.,” Baker said.
The family considers “Jesus” a blessing…
“I’m sure that it has some purpose, and we have yet to do is find out what that purpose is,” Mersenski said.
Merinos says a lot of people have already been to her home to see the image, and she is prepared to host others who are interested.
