A new New Hampshire poll shows Romney’s support rising (not that big a deal since he was governor in neighboring Massachusetts). More significantly, however, it shows Giuliani’s support falling dramatically.
In September, Giuliani was at 24% in New Hampshire. He is now at 16%.
Likability is a big deal in any political race. In a presidential race that has already been going for a year, likability may be one of the biggest deals. Many have said of Giuliani, “to know him isn’t necessarily to like him.” Is that one of the things the New Hampshire poll suggests?
Also of note – Fred Thompson’s support has fallen from 13% to 4% while John McCain’s has held steady at 18% and Mike Huckabee is below Ron Paul.
