One of my dearest friends left DC some months ago. He is a great man in a world where good men are rare. I know of few people who leave DC with greater faith than they came here with. He is one of them. I miss him but then I saw this photo of him, a MInnesota man, in his backyard and it made me miss him just a little bit less because, for him, this is a picture of joy – snow, ice, skates, his backyard.
