So, traditional Christian teaching about heaven is NOT that it is some fuzzy place in the sky. It is life here on a perfected earth – where heaven literally takes over earth.
I’ve been thinking a lot about that. And here is one simplistic question: What kind of technology will exist?
Will it be whatever technology exists when the dead are raised and heaven invades earth? In other words were it to occur next week would the pinnacle of laptop computing design and technology be the MacBook Air? Will the cars remain the same? Will they burn fossil fuels?
Or will we revert? Some have argued that the pinnacle of human history occurred 2000 years ago when God, in the form of Jesus, came to rescue mankind. If that is true do we revert to the pinnacle of history?
