A quote from a writer friend in Los Angeles, “LA is one of the few towns that will pay you to dream.” What she means is that with the TV and film business in LA, what you imagination is what matters (provided, of course, that you can translate those dreams into words).

Before anyone starts jumping up and down in anger, I am not saying that everything in LA is good or right or beautiful or such things. I am just saying that it encourages dreams. And THAT is a good thing. We all need more of that.
